Fast-paced and rapidly growing manufacturing company in Bucks County PA is seeking a Metal Fabricator / Welder to become an integral part of our team
A Fabricator is responsible fitting, joining, and fabricating our products and accessories by applying appropriate measurement and welding techniques.
Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:
Comply with XDS and OSHA safety standards, procedures, and regulations, including daily attendance of safety/toolbox meetings.
MIG and TIG weld milled and stainless/carbon steel components as specified by layouts, engineering drawings, work orders, or verbal instructions.
Inspect and correct welds as necessary to meet product specifications. Collaborate with co-workers in production of multi-component parts and large units.
Inspect equipment as required to maintain proper function.
Complete housekeeping duties in assigned area daily and/or when required. Perform welding and fabrication duties
Maintain quality throughout the fabrication
Conceptualize engineering and fabrication methods
Maintain time and fabrication records
Follow established weld fabrication procedures
Assist in the fabrication or welding of multi-component parts
Perform machine set-up, machining, welding set-up, welding, sheet metal fabrication and extrusion, tube bending and fabrication tasks
Perform maintenance on fabrication and machining equipment
Supervise subordinate fabrication and welding employees in all manufacturing disciplines used during the prefabrication process
Use prints and sketches to perform layout and welding techniques for structural steel fabrication
Perform assigned assembly/fabrication work in other departments
Optimize and develop the fabrication/manufacturing process
Assuring all material to be used in fabrication
Fabricating steel form parts for various cutting equipment and welding
Retrieve correct materials and perform various fabrication duties
Organizing workflow to meet parts fabrication department deadlines
Perform the required fabrication/ assembly work using published specifications
Perform skilled fabrication welding as required in the repair of construction equipment
Reads production drawings and recognizes whether the product is set up properly; sets up the form as indicated in the production drawing with correct bill of materials; makes indicated modifications to the set-up, as necessary. Retrieve correct materials and perform various fabrication duties

Perform the required fabrication/ assembly work using published specifications.
The Project Manager must own all assigned projects “cradle to grave” which starts at the initial client briefing and continues through design, engineering, estimating, model making, manufacturing, distribution, installation, invoicing etc. The Project Manager manages and monitors schedules, budgets, resources and deliverables for each assigned project. Based upon knowledge and experience, the Project Manager will be responsible to create, disseminate and manage the Scope of Work (SOW), Estimate Proposal, delivery requirements and quality standards, to all appropriate stakeholders, for each assigned project. The Project Manager will manage and monitor teams to make sure the successful management required to achieve financial results, delivery requirements and quality goals and objectives. Must have in-depth knowledge of materials, manufacturing methods and process’ required for each assigned project. The Project Manager is responsible for assigned projects that are being manufactured in-house or with subcontracted suppliers. Knowledge of larger landscape without neglecting granular details while tracking project health, staying alert for risk and resolving issues as they arise. Maintains standards and monitors scope with project quality.

Interacts with assigned clients, salespeople, vendors and company employees to create, oversee and implement a unique project plan, for all assigned projects, monitoring and adapting as needed Responsible to create, disseminate and manage the Scope of Work (SOW), Estimate Proposal, delivery requirements and quality standards, to all appropriate stakeholders, for each assigned project. Acts as a liaison, as necessary and at timely and appropriate times to and from our clients, our suppliers, our internal company stakeholders including company management, design, engineering, production and manufacturing personnel, company distribution personnel, installation teams and company accounting personnel etc.
Maintains agreed upon project objectives
Monitors production and quality to customer/stakeholder/sponsor standards reporting opportunities or problems
For each assigned project, reports on project progress, offers viable solutions and opportunities as they arise to key stakeholders
Implements change practices as approved
Manages resources to make sure schedule is on track
Lead project related meetings and sets expectations for project team
Maintain approved budgets for assigned projects.
Report on projects to all key stakeholders including company ownership, sales personnel, coworkers and the associated client personnel etc.
Facilitating change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.
Utilize the approved company procedures at all times Utilize approved company forms, paperwork, ERP computer system etc.
Work closely with company accounting personnel to provide them with all necessary information in a complete, timely and accurate manner Identify and develop new opportunities with approved clients keeping company ownership
Obtaining customer acceptance of project deliverables.
Manage customer satisfaction within project transition period.
Conduct post project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements.
